Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter dated 1 Feb. 1845 and addressed to Daniel Webster of Boston, Massachusetts. The item was also signed by Willard Richards, William W. Phelps, John Taylor, and other prominent Mormon leaders. Young asks for legal advice concerning the repeal of the Nauvoo City charter by the Illinois state legislature.
